| I was reading the first few pages of the Ovation story book, at Amazon, since it had the "Look Inside !" feature. Since their goal was to match a Martin D-45 ( or some model ), which I'm sure is a popular instrument, how did they end up with a tone that is not always given the best praise ? If it sounded just like the Martin, you'd think it would be well respected.
My guess is a lot of people try out the shallow body guitars , which tend to be the type on music store walls, and complain it has no low end, unplugged.

One day I will play a slothead, lucky those who one of these.
Keep reading the book, it gets better and better.

Something I read in the Ovation book
