Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Here are the latest offerings from the stable...the OFC II has a new home so I am concentrating on several other Adamas guitars which need new homes. I sincerely doubt that it is possible to find more near mint examples of early Adamas I guitars. Each is a gem and is in top notch condition. Again prices are stated that leave some instant equity to the new owner.
1. 1978 Adamas I 1687-8 #119-86 This is a near mint example of the early Adamas guitars. the 42nd production Adamas built and simply stunning in appearance and originality. It sound wonderful, looks fabulous, and comes with its original case and case cover. I cannot stress how mint this guitar is. One small, small piece of the top trim is gone (try to find it...It is so miniscule that I will probably have to show you). Price is considerably less than what I paid a few years ago. $3199. plus shipping (international shipping is available). Your chance to own the finest Production Adamas in existence. Shipping will depend on location and will be the exact amount of shipping the guitar. I take Personal Check, PayPal (preferred).

1. Adamas 1687-7 -91 Stereo from 1981 I have had this wonderful Adamas the longest of any of my Adami...You can see it on Jerome's site at the link below and it is the six string in my profile pic. This guitar is near mint; only a couple finish indents on the back of the neck (very minor and I forget they are there): it came to me like this and is nothing to worry about but I want to disclose all that I know. The guitar sounds fantastic. It got a once over at the mother-ship several years ago and was pronounced in fantastic shape. It comes with a nearly new 9158 case and is ready to go. Price is $2300 plus shipping. I use UPS and will ship internationally using International Priority. Shipping will depend on location and will be the exact amount of shipping the guitar. I take Personal Check, PayPal (preferred). A Donation will be made to the site following clearing of payment. http://www.ovationtribute.com/Adamas_Models/Adamas_I/1981_Adamas_I_...

Location: SoCal | Beautiful guitars. Was the bridge replaced on the blue one? In the last 20 years, Ovation stopped putting a finish on them that the older ones have (compare the bridges of both guitars)..... |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Sorry for the non working url for #119 above...here is the corrected one...

BTW, here is a close up of the bridge on #119...you can see it has a lacquer overspray. The guitar is so mint that it was never exposed to light and did not get darker...the bridge is very light in color to begin with. Also easy to see that it has never been off of the guitar...I bought it from the 2nd owner who had owned it since 1980...he told me that the original owner never played the guitar and that he had hardly played it either...it was a part of his collection.

Location: SoCal | Regardless, beautiful guitar. I much prefer the subtle reverse burst of #199 to the hard reverse burst of the later Adamii.... |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Paul, the -7's have always been my favorites as well...119 is a much more subtle -8 than many I have seen (although the OFC 1's are subtle as well) but I do agree with you...the beige -7 is cool
