I'm looking for an older Ovation preamp, which is out of production nowadays: the OP50. As far as I can see, no one carries them, and also I've seen none of them on Ebay. There are OP30's in some European shops, but I need OP50 for a guitar with jack and XLR outputs. Where usually these preamps can be found? Is there any store where they can be bought?
Thanks! |

Why?
Because they were the best of the OPs before they got more complicated.
I love the OP Pro and VIP but the OP50 was simple and flexible.
Also they only came with an Adamas or a custom Elite for the most part.
Keep looking, you might dig one up. |

If all you need is the XLR option, that can be done with the OpPro models as well... and they fit in the same space. Talk to Al (alpep on the forum) at Lost Art Vintage. I'm sure he could order one up for you

I just want to replace OP Pro Studio with OP 50, because I don't like the sound of OP Pro. I'll still be monitoring ebay, and also I'll ask for it at Lost Art Vintage. |
