I haven't posted pics of new guitars for quite some time. I sent a note rather fast to Waskel when I saw he was letting the DS768 go.

It's inspiring! My index and middle fingers have swollen at the joints cuz I just can't put the thing down. It's made a couple of songs I do solo much easier, and it's opened up some others I had shelved cuz the vocals were JUST out of reach. It's also been great for just plain ol' new ideas. I find myself playing it very differently.

The strings to use on this baby are EJ18s I've had it tuned (successfully) from d all the way down to b, and various open tunings between. intonation was still fairly accurate, the pickup did fantastic, and the strings were still tensioned enough that they weren't flapping all over the place.

And she's beautiful too! but these are better than any words can describe...

Yep, that's a beauty!
The only reason I let it go to John originally was the acquisition of my mighty twin 2080Ds.

You will love playing that one Damian. Very inspiring longneck!
