I have a Custom Balladeer Electric that I think I bought in about 1970-72. I has a foil label inside with the # 1612-1 and ser# 43907. It has diamond inlays and chome tuners, a deep bowl & sunburst color. There is no equalizer. It is in a hard brown case.

Over in the FAQ forum there is a Serial Numbers List

Unfortunately, for yours it only gives a range of 1970 to 1972...
But you already knew that.

Thanks for the list. I must be wrong I guess I bought it in 75 and not 72 looking at the list.
Do you know when they began to put on the equalizer?

Glen, that list isn't 100% accurate, but I don't think foil labels were around before 72

I've upgraded your membership. You're free to move about the site and post questions in the other sections. There are only a very few people that can respond to posts here.
