I am going to sell a fairly unique Ovation and I thought I would come here before I go to ebay or somesuch.  I like to try and give the first shot to people who really know what they are getting.

So.. if it is ok with the mods, I would like to post a FS for my 1980 Balladeer Special in very good condition with OHSC and lots of original case candy.   This is a 1639 with serial number 210809.

I've got pictures.

I would be happy to kick in 2% to the board if it sells.

Thx.

Sadly I don't know what that means.  The neck is a darkish brown with what appears to be a faux wood finish.  The manual does not mention the material used.

Dilapidus, you're a full member now. Feel free to post throughout the site.

And Urelite is a foam typ material that Ovation used for a while on Applause, UKIIs, and I believe yours.

In other words, that is indeed a faux finish cuz it ain't wood!
