Hi, all.

A few years ago, I posted in the 'For Sale' forum about my 1981 Lennon Legend 1651. Here's the old thread...

Anyway, the guitar is no longer for sale, but I thought you might be interested to see the kind of work they can do at Ovation.

I had the fretboard planed & re-fretted, and had a new ebony bridge installed with a traditional saddle. It's a straight acoustic now, and sounds & plays absolutely amazing. Some may find the new bridge somewhat sacrilegious, but since the guitar had been abused & altered already, my conscience is clear. I guess I'm a little OCD, but having an ebony bridge with a walnut bridge never looked quite right. Plus, I think the new saddle is a big improvement over the original plastic setup, which I thought was pretty lame.

Anyway, here are some pics. I've long since deleted the 'before' pictures, but believe me... it's an amazing difference...

Umm, I meant ebony fretboard & walnut bridge...
