Greetings. I am still looking for recommendations ... I have an old Balladeer 1112, it has a piezo under saddle wired directly to the output jack. (No preamp).

Can I add a volume control to this... If so, what control would work and what wiring schematic do I need!

Thanks

Doug

Doug, welcome.

I've upgraded your membership so you can go ask in the main section. This "Welcome Center" only has a few people able allowed to respond, so you'll have a better response there.

Well I did add a volume control, except not to the guitar. I soldered a potentiometer in line to a guitar cable. It works, and without having to drill a hole for the vol control into the bowl of the Balladeer. The I noticed Taylor sells one ($60) on M F. A little price, but same effect.

Yes, I have something similar by Fishman with the addition of EQ. Glad you figured out your solution.
