What a great site.
A buddy of mine truned me on to Ovation.
Thanks AstroDan.
I just picked up the sweetest 1538 Elite. Wow what an instrument. Got me hooked on Ovation
the sound is totally pure and as a friend of mine say's its a monster.

I am looking to add to my collection. So let me ask anyone had sucess with repairing from the Ovation center.

Great to be here and hoping to get to know some of you.

Hello Bear, welcome to the club. Out of curiosity, when/where did you get that 1538? They're EXTREMELY rare... I think maybe Dan had one, did you get it?

Yes Dan and I have already talked about maybe getting together. As soon as the Mothership finishes 1669 CL I got from Patch. We talked about coming down. And Thanks for the welcome!!!

Considering Bobbo's post is coming out of the Bay Area, this could be taken a couple of different ways.... not that there's anything wrong with that.

All punning aside, it would be great to have an official gathering in NorCal. I would try to make it down if at all possible.

Yes out here on the Delta..... ( Brentwood ).
And yes I hope you can free up when Dan and Bob put this together.

I bought the 1669 from Patch and I can't wait for it to arrive back from the Mothership.
We are waiting on it before we set anything up.

Your auto graphed AD looks almost identical to the 1669....... Hope mine plays as well as you say yours does.

Acoustically, I bet your 1669 sounds better. That autograph's rubbed down to just the "A" now, but I know it used to be there and that's all that matters.
