If you are talking about THIS "Ovation LV"... it is a Typo
That is an Ovation LX... And it is probably worth the asking price.
It looks like a 6778LX.

As to Larivee... Larivee is it's own guitar company not affiliated with Ovation.

And since I typed this the listing has been changed from LV to LX.

At the Buy it Now price this is a steal. It does look like a 6778LX. If you're interested in a mid bowl LX technology guitar this would be a price not to pass up.

it's a 1778LX, even a better deal.

Oh yeah, Damon.

Triangular Fret Markers.

(6778LX has dots and diamonds)

That's the one. The guy was selling it for another person. When I questioned the seller he apparently contacted the owner who looked thru his records and immediately the price went up 400.00 BIN to 700.00 bin.

And through this, we learn a lesson.
If you think that an item on eBay is worth more than the asking price...
You just buy it.

Yup, OMA. A few years ago I passed up a nice condition 1537 in a local shop because I didn't know if it was worth the $450! By the time I got home and asked here (and received a barrage of JUST BUY IT replies), it was gone.
