I have a lead on this vintage O for sale, I may pick it up since the price is right. Anyone have any advice on the pros and cons for this particular model? Sounds like it is good shape, but I have not seen it in person.

It doesn't plug in.

I had a nice one that FedEx broke the neck on... I fixed it and sold it.
I have a nice one that had a broken neck, but it was repaired by the previous owner.

Both sound GREAT

My current one is from about 1971, has a hand-laid bowl and is surprisingly Loud.
And light.

Yeah, I knew is is acoustic only, but I very seldom plug in. What is a hand-laid bowl... fiberglass?

Yes, Fiberglass.
The 1121 was only made until 1982 according to the OFC Price guide so I think that all of them are hand-laid.
The simple way to tell is to look inside the sound-hole. If you see weave it is hand-laid.
If you see injection divots, it ain't.
