Location: Detroit area | I've been playing Ovation guitars for about 7 years now, first a 1769 CL and now an '05 Collector's (along w/my "home" guitar, the '79 Legend). Aside from some home recording, 99% of my playing is live worship on a state-of-the-art stage/platform, rockin' the house in front of 1,500 people. Meaning, there is zero room for error. Never once has one of my Os let me down. Awesome amplified tone, never slipped out of tune, never had pick-up/electronic issues. And I play guitar like it's a percussion instrument.
Thank you Ovation for somehow finding the balance between a great-sounding guitar that is essentially bullet-proof. |

Location: Minden, Nebraska | My brother showed me his new strobe tuner that he uses for his Martins. I did find that if I stared at it long enough that my head seemed to stay in tune just fine (although no one was hitting me over the head with guitars, so it's all hypothetical.) |

| Literally preaching to the choir ;)
It's still nice to hear someone give a testimonial to Ovations every so often, just like every once in a while one of us sings praises about the folks at customer service in CT. |

Location: Colorado | Ditto Joey: I've in the past talked about SH #43 - and why I played it...honestly one of the best tools I ever bought...from 85-97 - it was working at least 6 hours per day - all on the road - it holds tune - sounds good even when I play it - union guys stared at it and kicked it around - but it still sounds good - just ask the judge here in Denver. I own a few other guitars - all good - but the ovations are the road tools in my trade - well used to be anyway.

| I use my Adamas guitars constantly and exclusively for gigs. I love the little things as well as the great sound and durability, I like the fact that I plan to change my 9v batteries all the time but I always seem to forget or put it off time aftee time. These guitars are very frugal on the power drain and I get gig after gig out of them while I thank Ovation for their elecronics genius.
That reminds me I need to change those batteries! I also have to admit those carbon fiber tops are tough as nails man! I have bumped these guitars putting them away or hitting the microphone stand while setting up and fitting in a small spot. Never left a mark yet.
Had a couple of buzzes that took me forever to find. One was a loose brace, one was an internal electronics attachment. Easy fixes on both. I have adjusted the necks and saddles on all my ovations and they are very user friendly and I love those Trus Rod designs! Very good movement!
Best thing.......I still get comments about the beauty and unique design and the sound of these guitars.
Total package. Fender better not change a thing at the factory in Conn. These American Made Ovations are priceless and so are the workers who make them!
My hats off boy's and girls!
