Location: south east Michigan | Seems like there are more Michiganders out there recently.
Two summers ago I tried to put together a Great Lakes OFC gathering without success. So... let this be a seed planted for next summer.
Let's not let those southerners, easterners, & westerners have all the fun.
Think about it.
BTW.. All you Ohio Buckeyes are also included. But you'll need three references. |

As a transplanted Ohioian, here are my 3 references:
Woody Hayes.
Jim Tressel.
Paul Brown.
As long as they beat the Wolverines every year, I do not care about their records. Go BIG O!!! |

Since it doesn't look like you will see snow while you are here in Tennessee, why not head up to Michigan. They Got Snow. :D |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Do they have mosquitos all year in Florida? One of our new employees is from Louisiana. Her dad wouldn't visit for Christmas because it was too cold here. Turns out when it was 41 here, it was 29 down there. |

| We haven't had mosquitoes here since early October, but then again we're still under a drought. After the first cold snap they disappear until the Spring rains. Down in southern FL you can get 'em all year.
We had one night a few days ago where it dropped down to 29 for a couple of hours (we're at about the same latitude as New Orleans), but the day after it was back up into the 70's. |

Location: Parrish, FL | It will be a good game if the womens volley ball team gets on the right bus this year. The gals tried hard last year but they didn't have the speed to keep up.

Paul Brown You're right. If I'm gonna brag I should do it from a position of strength.
Ten responces.
None from Michigan.
Maybe this won't work afterall. |

Maybe this won't work afterall. Don't give up. Seven (now 8) of those responses were from us Southern boys. Y'all know we can't keep from jabberin' all tha time! |

I'd make the trip down from Traverse City to see the other Ovations in our fine state.

Location: Boise, Idaho | Keep trying, Brad. It took me a few months and a million posts to put together the NW Gathering last year. We had stonebobbo and his son come up from California and fillhixx come down from Canada. Those are some diehard fans.
Before that, I was able to gather 2/3 of the Idaho members, when tdeej stopped in Boise and let me try out his 1547. |

I thought we were talking about my backyard.
Not that any plans are set in stone, but my house is on the south east side of the mitten. |
