Location: south east Michigan | Well folks, it’s that time of year again!!
For the new guys…..
This will be the third year for the OFC Calendar. Other members will attest to its many virtues. Designzilla (aka: Steve) is a trained professional and he puts together something you will be proud to hang on your wall.
Any amount over the costs of printing and shipping goes to the OFC upkeep fund to help pay for the various things it takes to make this thing go.
We only print enough to cover the pre-paid orders (plus a couple extra to give as “thank you” gifts to a few people at the mothership. Now last year we printed a few extra thinking that procrastinators would pick up on them. As far as I know they are still languishing in Miles’ basement. We won’t be printing any extra this year so don’t miss out.
OFC members provide all of the calendar photos. We are still looking for some creative, hi-def pictures. E-mail submissions to… BPBDS@COMCAST.net
BPBDS@COMCAST.net
Here’s how to order……
Send a check for $29.00 to…
Brad Durasa
7262 Audubon
Algonac, MI 48001
Or
If e-bay is more convenient…
Send $31.00 by Pay-Pal to…. Skipkid1954 (yes… that’s SKIPkid)
All shipping charges are covered.
The first year we sold a little over 60. Last year, just a little under 50. I’m hoping we can at least match last years sales. It’s a great calendar for a great cause. The price is based on what you would have to pay for custom work at Kinkos, WalMart, or local drugstore for something that looks not anywhere near as nice.
Lastly…. Because we are all geeks about this sort of thing the calendars are numbered in order of payments received. However, holding with tradition, Woody gets dibs on #1.
Okay everyone….. GREEN UP!!! |

I have a Calendar at work in my very "respect Diversity and be politically correct to others" cubicle. I have one at home that my Wife just doesn't notice... except for the shots with Dave witko... |

In fact, in that hopefully distant day when I will no longer have need of one, I can just hear my kids now: "Why on earth would Mom have keep all these old calendars of guitars......???"
I can only think of one negative side to getting one--GAS. ;) :D
Brad, I will send you my contribution as soon as I figure how many.

About pics from 'zilla's jam weekend making the calendar. Since 'zilla is producing the calendar and the jam is at his house, I think there is a good chance he can reserve some space to cover it. At least I hope he can. |

Location: south east Michigan | I'm gonna try something different this year John... I'm not gonna tell ya. This way, every few minutes or so, you'll be thinking... "Is this it??? Did I miss it??? Am I too late???" The longer you wait the more it will weigh on you mind. First it will seem like a few mild distractions here & there. Zoning out at work for a minute or so or forgetting simple instructions like... stop & get so some bread on the way home. But not long after that the restless nights and feverious dreams will set in. Your wife will ask you in the morning why you were talking in your sleep moaning.... "March.... April... Maaaayyyyyy"
Do yourself, your family, and your co-workers a favor John. Don't wait. Do it. Do it right now. You'll be better of mentally, spiritually, and financialy.
Do it John... Do it!!! |

Location: south east Michigan | Over the years I have maintained meticulous records on the sale of the OFC Calendars. Therefore, it’s not difficult to cross reference my lists and see which “regular” OFC members, who have purchased the calendar twice before but have not ordered one this year.
It would be tacky in extreme bad taste to list their names. Under pressure from Tupperware I have, on occasion, been known to embrace “tacky”. But “bad taste” is a line I will not cross. Instead I have assigned code names to these members.
In no particular order they are…..
1) Binky Sipowitz
2) Ethel Shintowski
3) Lenny “Backdoor” Levin
4) Mary Tyler-Moore
5) Phil Inthrapic
6) Bond…. James Bond
7) Benny “Tightstrings” Bridgestone
8) Perry Bolic
9) James T. Kirk
10) Bob Taylor
If we can get these guys / gals and just a couple more newbies going we’ll be in great shape. |

Keeping that in mind, as the next ten orders come in I'm gonna update youz guyz as to whose name we can remove from my totally fabricated list.
And the first to check in is......
drum roll please....
BINKY SIPOWITZ.... aka: Fugot.

Sorry about the girlie name there Mark. Someone had to end up with it. It's just my luck that a high powered attorney landed on that place on the game board.
I can see it now. I'm at next years tour. At the ski lodge. As Brian & I walk up for our set, Mark's hired thug (Paul Moody), blocks my path and serves me with lawsuit papers claiming malicious slander and causing a major gender indentification crisis.
I'm screwed. |

And malicious slander is an everyday occurance around here so both are pretty much grandfather'd, Brad. Add to that the chances that Moody'll even find you are probably pretty slim, I'd say you've got no problems at all! |

.
And also Bond... James Bond has checked in. (aka: Tupperware or Standing Ovation or Taky or "That Weird Guy" or UKE-MAN!!!)
Interesting that Dave came up as Bond. They are really very alike. Traveling to far off exotic places (Utah?) on assignment. Flawlessly taking on other indentitys such as "French Guy" and the very popular "Hula Gal". I marvel at how he is able to hide his sauve, cool, secret agent abilities behind that akward, short-minded, Clark Kent kinda guy that he only shows to us.
BTW.. did Dave ever tell you the story about the time that his Hula Girl personna worked just a little to well? I think it has been de-classified. See.... he was on double secret assignment at a bar in Amsterdam. His job was to extract miltary secrets from a group of vacationing Sumo wrestlers. Things where going pretty well until some guy snuck up behind him and... well... Dave tells the story much better. Ask 'em sometime. |
