Location: New Hartford CT | I know we're all used to top of the line Ovations selling for even less than this one...but I'm intrigued with this model. Cedar top, perfect grain, looks like NOS. Stupid GAS...
What can anyone tell me about this model? How does it sound?

Location: Fort Worth, TX | That was the second to last O I bought this year, same exact looking one. The cedar top on it was incredible for fingerstyle play sound. I sold it because it arrived with a cracked top that happened in shipping, but not before playing it for 3 months. I am actually looking for another one just like it. It was my favorite out of the Os I've owned, but what does my opinion count? I've only ever bought five of 'em. |

Location: Muenster/Germany | I can say it short: BUY IT!
These guitars from the early 90´s are in my eyes from the heyday of Ovation. I have a 1768ltd with spruce top and this instrument SINGS instead of just "sounding" and I can use incredibly low string action on it. The cedar top on the photos looks phantastic. And 850 USD is a real bargain for a guitar like that.
I would buy this myself, but the seller won´t ship outside U.S..... |

Location: Pewaukee, WI | I have the super-shallow version (1868-C), similar serial number (464xxx). When the day come to trim the herd, this one will be staying.
