Location: Phoenix AZ | With all due respect, Some people share a different view than you on capital punishment and the ten commandents. Their opinions are no more or no less valid than yours. Whatever any of our positions on these things topics might be, why air it out on a guitar forum? What possible purpose does this serve?
Sorry for being a cranky old man. A few years ago I would have taken you to the mat trying to convince you that you are wrong. I no longer have the energy nor the interest. CLICK.

Hey Al, why don't you shut this thread down before I really get started?
Besides, the politicians in New Jersey probably banned capital punishment so they wouldn't have to face it when they're convicted.
And don't get me started on Denmark....
Yeah Al, close this down. |

First, if you execute the wrong person, all you can say is "Ooops!"
Second, most people sit around for years before they are executed... If they don't die of old-age first.
Third, Death is Not a punishment. It is promised to everybody!
If you believe in an After-Life, you are just releasing the Prisoner.
If you believe that death is the "END", then nothingness teaches the Prisoner NOTHING!
Life in Solitary Confinement! Now That is a Punishment.
Just put them in a cell, weld the door shut!
Give them a bunch of books that are missing the last chapter...
Give them all the razor blades they want!
Feed them the same thing, twice a day, everyday.
And if it turns-out that they are innocent, you can still release them.
Gee, aren't you glad you read that! :p |

Not so inhumane for the sick and feeble but our aging prison population is overtaxing the already inadequate medical support in the prisons.
Kids we work with have no fear of prison...to many of them, it is a way of life. One actually said that he either went to college or prison...either way he would get an education. |

Way to go Jersey! |
