IIRC, there used to be an OFC Member of the Year Award that looked something like that. Phil Wong, Templeman and Slipkid all won at some point I think. Someone must have a picture of it somewhere.

I believe it resides (rightfully) with KimKeller. |

Location: Yokohama, Japan | All of the Nature Series were awesome guitars. Made only for the Japan market in their heyday, I think. A friend of mine brings his by for jam sessions every once in awhile, but like my 1868, the top has separated from the bowl. I'm trying to convince him to send his to the Mini-mother. His daughters, bless their hearts, thought it would be fun to use his guitar as a slide! Ouch! |

I was wondering where it finally wound up. It was an honor to be named the first winner. Truthfully its ironic because as many members of the club know I was always taking pictures and rarely even picked up a guitar, let alone play one in public. Slipkid is the only member to actually take a picture of me holding a guitar. I don't count the few that my wife took of me and my sons on the first tour I attended. I spent more time and money on camera equipment than guitar equipment. Im more of a capture the moment of a live event photographer than a still life artistic shooter. That's why I really enjoy the photos posted on this forum and the calendars. I'm glad that Mr. Keller has the award now.
