Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Where I live, there are 175+ tenants in my building...
A few of them cook a Thanksgiving meal for the whole building every year.
The building management supplies multiple turkeys and other stuff...
But Fran and Lucy and some other people (mostly women) actually cook all of that stuff outta the Kindness of their Hearts. And I Thank Them.
So we had the meal a day early, on Wednesday, so that we could eat together and still let people go have Thanksgiving with our families on Thursday.
So there is still the opportunity for me to go out on the Official Thanksgiving Day...
But I will probably stay home and watch Parades and Football.
I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to Everybody.
Even to folks who do not celebrate it on this day.

It's supposed to be at the end of the harvest, assuming it was a good one.
But all the best to you all anyway, all the time.
I'm not often on the laptop and able to log on here, from the iPad I seem to be unable to log on to the site and that's how I do most of my surfing these days. Just know I'm here once in a while, lurking, even if you can't see me
Kinda like Cliff, but without the llama smell. |

"Thanksgiving" has become "Black Friday Eve." |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Hope all of you had a good one. We went over to Portland to visit family. Got some ice in the Blue Mountains on the way back, as usual and saw a bunch of crashes, but we made it through with white knuckles. Came back with an Ovation amp my brother picked up for me months ago and I forgot about. Almost too big for the new house and I'm really wondering why I even asked him to check it out. |

As Sir Edmund concisely stated, "Because it's there."

Location: Boise, Idaho | That's about right. I sometimes check Portland Craigslist if I'm going to be there and spotted the amp probably last winter. My brother and I traded emails about it and then I forgot about it. He's had it in a spare closet since. That was before we moved to a smaller house. I managed to squeeze it in. If I ever retire it will be a good project. |

I have to log in twice on my iPad (every time). Don't know why. Try logging in straight away after the failed attempt. |
