I wonder if they would be able to repair the wood around the epaulets. There is a place that is broken. I have the pieces glued on but it looks terrible. Do they still do repairs of that type? I bought the guitar new in 2006. It's warrantied.

They can replace epaulets, but they may or may not have exactly the same ones. Contact John at the mini-mother repair depot.

" It's warrantied "

By whom?

I am not sure who the last person to leave was...but I am pretty sure they even turned off the light.

If you haven't been following the other threads about Ovation being sold to a drum company, you might not know that the wonderful customer service may end soon. You should call customer service, John Budny, immediately about your repairs. I don't know if that sort of thing would have been covered by the warranty even in the good old days, but John would be the best source.

My experience with the repair ship is their prices are beyond fair. I wouldn't expect free, but they do seem to respect their customers and not price gouge.

With John overseeing the "repairship", you can expect a top tier job and I think you will be astounded at the inequity on the price side in relation to the craftsmanship. I would strike while the iron is hot. There is no telling, in the Ovation world,  of what tomorrow brings.

Thanks. I bought it new. I have it registered online. It's supposed to have a lifetime warranty on everything. We'll see.
