Location: Boise, Idaho | A rare opportunity to purchase my absolute favorite ovation model has presented itself and I wonder if it's selfish or greedy to want to have it. Is it right to deny another who cherishes ovations as much as I what could potentially become their favorite instrument too? I know since the unfortunate factory shut down these instruments will only become more and more rare, possibly even unobtainable for very long periods of time, which only adds to this gut wrenching feeling of "I must have this one too!" I'm sure others have felt this way since the shut down as well, so just gimme your two-cents or an experience where having a second of the same instrument was beneficial.

When is having the second of the same instrument beneficial?
If you damage one, you have another.
If you have two, you can play both and spread the wear between them.
Or you could have one for daily use and one for "shows".
Or you could have one to "save" for when you wear-out the other.
Only with Ovation could you have two identical guitars.
With other makers (woodbox) each guitar will sound different.
Only because of Ovation quality can you find such consistency between guitars.
