Location: Jet City | I didn't watch it, but the buzz is out on last night's "Undercover Boss". Doesn't look good for the Peavey folks. Their image took a big hit too. Unfortunate. Their customer service has always been stellar whenever i've had a need. |

Location: Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire | Agree on their customer service. I needed a phantom power switch from Peavey for a small mixer that I have. Called them and with my CC got two shipped (one as a spare) and that was great! Not too many companies do that. I've used their stuff over the years with good results although it seems a common Peavey ill is cold solder joints with their electronics. Had a CS800 power amp that we would have to kick before a gig and then it would run all night!! But for the money their stuff works pretty well. Sounds like a good episode to watch! |

Location: Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire | I watched that episode last night! Real nice.....first they pump sunshine up the butts of some good, loyal employees offering them money to stay, others to fix their finances and some weeks later, pull the plug! It obviously was a "made-for-TV" situation that mirrored other Undercover Boss scenario's until it came to the end where the who thing collapsed! Testing a Media Matrix system was interesting. That brought back some memories. As a sales rep in Boston, I sold one of those some years ago (for a new school) and it had lots of promise as a virtual sound management system. Just another example of the new world order of slicing and dicing companies on the cheap! |

Location: Denmark | I have three times participated in questionnaries about the service level of our local post office I always answered positive. All three times, a short while after harvesting the positive feedback, they have closed the post office closest to me. Corporate people and their marketing people are manipulating liars. |

Location: Denmark | Yeah, thanks for pointing it out. I got carried away by the story of the three employees at Peavey. I reckon that I was bit wide in my generalisation. I correct myself to with my former post narrowing in only on those from the danish mail system and those involved in the under cover at Peavey story. And appologise to all the honest of the trade.
