I just received a USA built 1982 1111-1 and What a Sound! A added it to my collection of 4 Martins, 1 Gibson, a Breedlove and a Korean built Elite 2078AX, and this Balladeer is holding it's own. It arrived with a bit of mung ground in to the soundboard and some light scratches, but after an hour of gentle cleaning it now looks like a 33 year old Hottie and not an old hag to be relegated to a corner somewhere. Life is good!

Congratulations on your new old Ovation! The 1111 Balladeer was my first, and spoiled me rotten on anything else!
