| Not too long ago i bought this beauty: Applausse by Ovation AE 247.
Well my uncle has the same guitar, but then the real deal. As i noticed, the wood on the guitar around the holes on the body is carfed in on his, and just glued on on mine. Also the sound is much much less deep and basicly unplayable above the 3rd fred. I put up new elixer strings and the sounds is at least to say some better.
Then i started investigating and found the magic text: Made in China .. 
here is my question: Can i do anything to buff this guitar in any way, i want the sound to be more like the original Ovation Applausse or anything like it. Can i upgrade the sound quality or anything?
