Hello all,

First of all, thanks for this forum. I just recently found it.
I have a blue adamas from the late 70's (ish) and was thinking of selling. I checked the numbers once and it seems like it was made in 1978. It's the light blue sunburst. It has some fingerboard wear in the first three frets or so and a small crack in the bowl. Thank you, United Airlines. I've had it since 1988 and have the case too.
Can someone give me an idea of what it might bring? Thanks, Craig

Hi Craig,

Prices vary a lot, and have gone all over the place since Ovation stopped manufacturing in the US last year. The crack in the bowl would certainly detract from the price. The best bet would be to check eBay history. What is the model number?

My guitar is a 1687-8; Ser. # 1023-94. I didn't see much on Ebay. Thanks for the chat. TNGPKAC
