Hello everyone, I have the chance to buy a black 1719 custom legend for a very good price and I'm trying to figure out if it's an original or a 30th anniversary reissue; any clues as to what I should look for? I'm also the proud owner of an Adamas II 1681-2 which adore!

Thanks a bunch,
F

They didn't do any black reissues. Yours would be original. What preamp do you have?

Great vintage! Probably somewhere between about 1985 and 1995. You can tell exactly by the serial number. But grab it if you can ... sounds like a great find.

Well, a 1719 custom legend in almost mint condition with the carved bridge, abalone pearl inlays and ebony fretboard for 300$ canadian is pretty close to a bargain if you ask me...!

Nice get, Franky. I love it when a plan comes together. Only a few people can actually post in this Welcome area. You ought to introduce yourself and your guitar in the general posting area. A lot of folks are probably doing the ooh-ahh thing already over there.
