I decided to try playing guitar six years ago and picked up an Applause with a cracked top for $70 from Music Go Round. (I didn't want to over-commit to this idea since I wondered if an "old dog" of 56 could learn an instrument.) It has been a great learning experience, and although I've played and owned several others, my first love is still Ovation. Now I'm blessed to own a 1972 Pacemaker and a 1985 Ovation. The recent news about the re-opening of the New Hartford factory has me very excited. Who knows what the future holds?

Correction: The 1985 is a Legend.

Thanks Damon. Hey, by the way, I really enjoyed the Lenora Tribute on your website!
