Good evening, First things first I'm Vincent a 24 year old amateur guitarist of which my current guitar is a Stagg ovation style.
This guitar has been through a luthier to pimp it up and it plays like a charm, i have had it for over a year now and am in the opportunity to buy the real thing.

An Ovation Ultra Series, model no. 1528, serienr. 276115. The ovation Site puts the guitar build in 1982 but thats all the info the site gives.
I tried to enter the archives but after clicking the 1528 link the site stays blank. (i have tried several browsers)

So I was hoping you guys could help me in the direction of information and help me judge if €250 is a fair price.
Any information you guys have would be more than welcome!

I cannot tell you about the fair price in Europe.
But I can tell you that all of the "Ultra" series were made in Korea.

HERE is an old listing from Elderly that has the specs.

Here is a Wayback Machine copy of the Ovation website from 2008

And now that I see that I cannot read that, here is the important part:

Where that sez "nickel" machines... if yours is a "Deluxe" they might be Gold-ish.
