1778T neck issue (needs adjustment)

The action is higher on frets 4-9 than 1-3 and 9 upward. I avoid neck adjustments as a rule. Is this a standard guitar store fix? Are there cautions submitting for adjustment specific to an ovation? First, try lighter strings. Otherwise, do an OFC search on how to adjust a truss rod. Then do a YouTube search.
