Location: Indiana		I have a friend who has been descending into Parkinson's for a decade. Merle has been a guardian angel to he and his wife. That's what I'll remember about Mr. Haggard.

Location: Indiana		The friend I mentioned above is Freddy Powers. He was a part of Merle's stage show for many years and a co-writer. Freddy was also an Ovation endorser. Here's an Austin City Limits clip. Merle plays a nice solo on an Ovation classic in this.
