"Up for sale is this vintage 1983 Ovation Breadwinner electric guitar. This is a real players guitar! The guitar is all original, with the exception of the electronics"

I didn't think production went on as long a 1983.

"Vintage Rant".. oh man.. I love that thread title! Everybody has a gold mine for sale, don't they?
Well.. case in point, maybe they do. I saw a local CL ad earlier this week for a mid-60's shiny bowl (balladeer I think). From the pictures it looked pretty used, but still quite clean-up-able.. so I called the guy and.. get this.. he GAVE it away to a guy he works with. He had just came across it and had zero knowledge of guitars. Just old junk to him. Go figure the bad luck on my part. My point, however, is that he didn't use the word "vintage" in his ad.. lol.
