Yup, tapped-out and them some Mr. Pepiak! But somebody out there is surely going to spring for this one! It's always kinda fun (for us spectators anyway) waiting to see who gets these gems! As somebody once said, "The anticipation is making me mental!" |

Location: Canada | That is awesome news, so they are still able to build some of the previous models it seems. Is it known what their limitations are with respect to tops and necks? |

I am going to run through some of my pending custom orders and see what they can shake out.
obviously the ability to build something is limited to what they can currently produce.
and if the parts are available or cost effective to build.
they can build anything....
will you want to pay for it????????
always the tough question |

I am happily surprised, though, to see the MS seems to be back in the business of being able to build the original Adamas suspended ring/top design. Great news. |

Location: Texas | Sweet guitar, and a bargain at the listed price above for a brand new Adamas, but, unless I'm more confused than usual, it's not exactly an Adamas I if it has a contour bowl, right? |

Location: moline, illinois | Definitely a sweet guitar at a great price,
I always considered the signature characteristics of the Adamas I to be the carved headstock and bridge plus the textured top and suspension ring so to me it's an Adamas I,
FWIW there's a Adamas I 1687S with a shallow bowl pictured on the ovation tribute site.

Location: Canada | One of the key features of the Adamas I was also the k-bar whereas contour bowl is associated with lx neck. On the other hand the new Ovations seem to have just plain truss rods. What's inside the neck of this one? |

Location: Sydney, Australia | Gees Al, you're killing me with drool bait here. For those sitting on the sidelines debating whether this is an Adamas I, the hand laid bowl with Adamas tone ring (ala 2008 Collectors) is a dynamite combination. And my vote is "Carved headstock = Adamas I". |
