I am looking for a Ukulele similar to the UAE 148, the larger bowl.

Possibly the same bowl used on the Mandolin?

Beat or broken is good too as it will provide an opportunity to re-top or customize. Maybe a mandolin to convert?

they are the same size as the mando
why? because I have one in a mando case

I will hold out for a while and try to rescue one or find a USA model.

BTW - Eddy Vedder has an album dedicated to Ukulele tunes.
