Location: Milton Keynes, UK | Hi - I have a 2006 Collectors model with the vip-5 preamp. Unfortunately the previous owner butchered the preamp module so that it didn't fit correctly in the can (I had to force it to get it out), and had hard-wired it to the connectors in the can, badly. I've been able to sort this out by cutting the module shell and improving the wiring, but it has meant mounting the battery remotely - now accessed through the rear body cavity plate. I'd really like to obtain a replacement vip-5 module. Can anyone suggest where I can get one? Thanks.
