My dad has played 12-string for 55+ years and his best love is an Ovation Adamas, no cutout with leather treatment. Since I started learning to play the last year or two I've had the fortune to play his when visiting and it just rings and is so comfortable and easy to play! Adamas $$ are a bit out of reach right for now, so I just acquired a really lovely ~1995 Elite 1858 12. It's shallow, compared to the nice rich deep bowl of my dads' but is the closest for now and hopefully a good first step. Anyway, this forum was a great resource in my hunting, thanks!
