I was a member here in like 2006 ish. I probably just went by tomcat. I have a Ballader, cedar top, it’s a GC exclusive. It’s been a good guitar...I’m happy with it. I stopped playing for about six years and have recently been playing again. I just learned Ovation was sold...I was wondering why I nervier see them in the stores. I know another company took over, and here’s my question/concern...

How are the Ovations these days since the sale?

I did see a Glen Campbell cutaway, the newest one I guess, a tobacco burst, and it sounded and played fine, but it seemed cheaper. Am I’m just imagining this because it’s not an original Ovation. BTW, is that cut away Glen Campbell an American model...I always hated the Celebrity Models. I’m thinking about buying a new Ovatiion but since I never see them, I have no idea if they’re any good still?

Thanks

If you search around the site, you will find many opinions on the new DW Ovations.
I do own a DW 1778TX-6 (it's White).

Only a few people can respond in the Welcome Center.
So I have upgraded you so that you can post elsewhere in the FanClub.

Personally... I buy Used USA Ovations made before 2014.
