Location: New York, NY | OK, so I'm a little bit confused. I thought the New Hartford factory closed for good this time, and all USA Ovation production had ceased. However, if you go to Ovation Guitars website and go to the six string section (http://www.ovationguitars.com/guitars-six-strings), it shows 5 American Limited models and 11 American LX models (7 Custom Elite, 4 Custom Legend).
So which is it? Are these US models still being made, and if not in New Hartford, then where?. Or is this just a case of the Ovation website not being up to date?

Location: New York, NY | I received a response from Ovation:
The original factory in New Hartford, CT has closed. We have moved to a different location in the nearby area. We are currently doing limited US production. The models that are listed on the website are models that are still currently available either through us directly or one of our dealers. If you are interested in one in particular, please let me know and I can check the availability for you.
Thank You,
Heather Dorris

Location: Colorado | I recently had service done on one of my guitars in New Hartford - not the old factory site - but not far from it. So, there is at least a team of one or more working in the area. Based on some recent publicly announced hires, things are going to keep rolling - somehow - someway....stay tuned.

Location: Canada | Thanks for the update. There is a lot of uncertainty about how and where warranty and other service work on US Ovations is done now. This seems to indicate that the new shop may also handle repairs.

Is it actually still there in New Hartford itself? I'm curious to know about what the facility is like and how the location is outfitted. Anyone have an address we can Google Earth to at least see it from the outside? |

Location: Colorado | It was a New Hartford Address., don't remember what - but I did a quick lookup then...and remember it seemed to be in the same time zone!. I had my factory work arranged through an authorized Ovation Dealer - who was very helpful, that is my suggestion how to potentially arrange for some work to be done. Even though JB is not there any more - it happened in the time frame they said it would take - and the work was stellar. |

Location: Taxed To Death State | The new facility is down the road about a mile and half in a small little town called "Pine Meadow". Just like DW said they are building some really sweet Adamas guitars and doing repairs. JB is still around town and doing well. I saw him this past weekend at New Hartford Day. |
