Hello. New to Ovation, just purchased the 8 String

As in the Subject, I'm kinda new to Ovation as an owner, though I bought an Applause bass back in 1989 (and still have it!) but don't think that counts. I purchased the Exotic Woods Custom Elite 8 string, with the Tobacco Sunburst finish. Awesome instrument, can't wait to learn how to play it (I've been a bass player for 47 years, mostly Jazz...) time for something new! Actually, I'd like to open up a thread somewhere about the 8 string in particular, as it is kind of a unique instrument, but not sure where to post it, under General, or ? Any advice would be appreciated!
