Location: Florida, USA | Hello Everyone. Glad I found this board. I've been a huge fan of Ovation for a long time. I lost count of how many I've had over the years, but I currently have 4. An S861 made in New Haven, 2 MIK CC257s, and a mystery Celebrity that I was hoping someone on the board could help me identify. All my Ovations came from eBay broken and beat and I brought them all back to life. The one in my avatar was an eBay penny auction and the the victim of a belt sander to the top. I reclad the top in aluminum and painted Sheryl Crow on it. Before you cringe at the thought of an aluminum top...it actually sounded pretty good plugged in. Unplugged, it had a Dobro sound...sorta.
Anyway...hello and thanks for making a place for all us Ovation fan out there! |
