 | Hello, First I have to say that my first real guitar (Lucked into it without knowing I should say) was my 12-string deep bowl (1758) I got about 1989 and have been playing ever since. This guitar has been magical, and played with a lot of love. Mostly unplugged, with no amplification, and is so amazingly loud and clear.

So, I was wondering, what would be the Ovation 6 string equivalate.
I am the Musical Director for a Shakespeare Company and play with out amplification. Currently I play a Martin 6-sting on stage but wondered about how an Ovation 6 would compare. The only 6 strings I would see in guitar shops were shallow bowls so never bothered.
So what model 6 sting would anyone suggest? Can be old or new etc.

 Thanks
 Jamie

 | The 6 string version of a 1758 would be a 1735. Or a 1537.

 | So, my Google-fu has failed me. Looks like this is going to be a long term hunt, couldn't find either for sale. I am so curious to hear how it would sound... | |
