Hi All, New Member here after finding this community seeking information regarding a guitar that has fallen into my possession.
After doing some research it appears the guitar is a 1984 Ovation Elite 1537 in Sunburst with the Original Hard Shell Case. It is a beautiful guitar and was hoping to find some more information regarding it.
It has been hard to gauge a value on the guitar but I've seen it sold anywhere from $800-$1400. Does this sound like an accurate range for these guitars?
The guitar is in great cosmetic shape aside from a small knick on the bottom of the body. I put in a new battery and the guitar sounds great both plugged (both mono and stereo outputs) and unplugged. The output jacks do need some adjusting as there can be some static when the guitar and cable are moved while plugged in.
