...to attempt a neck reset on my Applause AA-31. Its acoustic only, circa 1985, wooden neck.

So how do I get the neck off?

Nice work, Mr. L! What pups did you install?
As to neck removal, consult some of Dan Savage's file. I recall him removing a neck, at some point. I think Arumako used boiling H2O in plastic bags around the neck joint to soften the epoxy. Just go slowly. The adhesive eventually will give with heat and pressure.

Thanks. I got Wilkinson P90's and really liked them. Sounds quite tele-ish which is to be expected with and ash body and bolted on maple neck. I'll check put Dan S's stuff.
