Looks like they released a new version of the 1598. Not a guitar I paid much attention to but noteworthy they keep it going. I think the first MERB had two sets of epaulets, then MEII with one set, and now the new MEIII has no holes in the soundboard but instead a bunch of soundports. It sure looks different. If anyone knows more about the history of ME Adamas like release dates and other specs then please post.

A little limited on specs but I'd guess its meant as a stage guitar.

Mike (MishkaMike?) of this forum custom ordered an Adamas with side ports a couple years ago. He reported it sounded great. That was the first I'd seen from Ovation, and perhaps helped pave the way for this model. It brings the brand into a more modern aesthetic, which will hopefully bring some new younger owners in.
