| Hello folks. I've been playing Ovations almost since they were invented. They came out I believe in 1966 and I
bought my first one in 1968 which I think was the Legend. I recently acquired an old Korean made Celebrity
and was curious as to how to track it. I'd like to find out how old it really is the ser. no. is CC-01. It seems a lot
of people look down on the Korean made O's, but this one seems to be special. It's appointments are average
for an Ovation BUT, I've been told by many others who have played it that the action is so fast and close that
it plays like an electric guitar and it has a very crisp, clean, very "Ovation" sound. Does anyone know anything
about these guitars? |
