Location: Sydney | Woah now that I've started looking for the replacement, there's a whole world of vintage ovations out there! Spoiled for choice...
Anyway, I've scoured this bulletin and had a look on the ovation archive, and can't work out the difference between the custom 1112 and standard 1111 balladeer models?
The serial number lookup has (deep bowl) after the standard 1111 description, but I thought they were both deep.
Maybe I should just get both... (and suffer the consequences at home) |

Ovation Tribute
To answer your question in particular:
1111 vs. 1112
Scroll through until you get to the specs page and you'll see what differences are between the two models. The depth is the same. |

Great source of information. Now I see an Ovation Legend is there - how do the Legends compare to balladeers in terms of sound and projection?
I found my custom balladeer of yesteryear could be a tad on the quiet side, especially in the bass notes. |

The Ovation Tribute site is phenomenal. It is run by one of our members - Jerome - who is a truly great guy. |
