Location: Buffalo,NY | Thank you for sharing that. I didn't know who Josh White was let alone ever see him perform.
It's a great example of some one that's in the pocket or in the groove and finds it effortlessly !
What a great song and performance. I'm glad you posted it.

Location: Flushing, MI | That was KILLER! I haven't heard Josh in years, and I'm not certain if I've ever heard him playing an O'. This may be a new favorite YouTube/Ovation moment for me! Thanks for sharing that!
BTW - was that his daughter singing with him? She was great too! |

Elija Wald wrote a biography on him. Pretty interesting. I remember him from the early days but never knew about any of the political bs till many years later. |

| Some of these great musicians would have been better known if we had things like the internet and this "you tube" this is a great video I would have never seen. and there are thousands and thousands to browse in there.
That has to be one of the earliest Ovation clips being used Iv'e seen. Amazing actually considering this guy is a real traditional Blues player you would think he would be using a traditional classical guitar.
Why have I heard his name before?? did he have any fairly big hits or songs that were remade??
