Location: SoCal | I've got 2 acoustic 12 strings, Big Blue, my Adamas I 12, and a rebuilt 1969 Glen Campbell 12, which had a whole new body put on the old neck. It's got a hand laid shiny bowl, Adirondak spruce A braced top, and carved bridge.
There's a real difference between the guitars altho' both are really wonderful. The GC is brighter, but still has a good mellow bass (a result of the A bracing). The Adamas has a deeper clearer sound. They are similar, but very different. I enjoy playing them both. |

(good adirondack tops are hard to come by... with playing 4 or 5 years down the road, that guitar is going to sound soooo good) |

Was the original GC Blue? Or was that just a nice touch? |

Location: SoCal | Reflection. It's rosewood.
And Temp's right. He had one done almost the same way as mine, a few years ago. That's what inspired me regarding the bridge and shiny bowl. Playing Jeff's is what finally pushed me over the edge...... |

Location: Germany | This GC rebuilt looks so great! Did they take the golden rosette of the Josh White reissue and the vintage yellowed binding? Would love to see more pics (you know Jerome is so kind to host guitar pics).

The rosette is an overlaid abalone rosette. My wife absolutely loves the look of that rosette and the colors in it. |

I can see that you might have a hard time figuring out which one to play.(Long pause) Now that I think about it, how do you decide which of these two incredible guitars to play ?
