Location: Las Vegas, Nevada | Did you know that Rhino Records released a remastered "The Traveling Wilburys Collection" yesterday? It includes Volume 1 and 3 and a DVD in a budget digipak plus there is also a limited numbered edition that includes the discs, hardbound book and paperwork all in a hard slipcase. Discs have been out of print for years and were very expensive collector's items for a long time. |

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada | No matter what the price, it's a bargain as the cds have been out of print for 10 years and commanded high prices for a long time. The deluxe numbered edition is very nice. (I admit I'm a collector). Go to Rhino's website to see the details. They also reissued vinyl. (I'm a big Rhino fan as well as Hip-O Select). |

I happen to have both albums in vinyl, and as we speak, it's collecting dust somewhere in my parents' basement or attic. I just have to make the time to travel to Syracuse and get it one of these days ... |

It was waaay their best album. There was something about a Tipper Gore pact though. (lotta 'earthy' lyrics) Maybe it wasn't released in the states. |

I actually thought the lack of an Album #2 was a marketing thing. I thought it was clever. |

Location: Veedersburg, Indiana | I have both cd's and enjoy the music quite a lot, individually and as a group. I would like to have the dvd, but can't see buying the package just to get it. Remember when (I believe it was Gretsch) came out with the electric with the Wilbury's image on the body? I thought it was kind of cool. Probably played bad, but I'm sure people bought it because of the look. |

The Wilburys are one of my favorites (sorry, Miles  ). Another shining example of George's greatness. The rest of the guys aren't too bad, either. Check out the videos too. |

That was quite a time of creative energy in that circle: Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever, Harrison's Cloud Nine, the Wilburys stuff, and others.
We've been talking about adding "Handle With Care" to one of our sets. Great song. We just need someone who can do justice to the Roy Orbison vocals. |
