Location: Rocky River, Ohio | I was looking through all of my pictures of the past 2 OFC factory tours last evening.
I came across a nice picture of an Ovation craftsman putting the final touches on serial number 13 in the Adamas work cell during the 2006 tour.
I was thinking, this would be a cool picture to have if I was the owner.
If anyone on the board knows of the owner of SN-13, I can mail this nice picture of the final stage of production of this great instrument.
The guitar is on the horizontal stand. About 99% complete. Essentially assembled except for the strings. The craftsman is looking over all the carvings, making sure everything is perfect.
You can see the hang tag that says it's number 13.
Maybe the owner could keep it in the case pouch as a momento of all the work that went into building this awesome guitar.
Let me know, Ernie |

PS: Not to forget: Dave's page would have brought the same result - and would have shown the owner's OFC name! |

Location: Rocky River, Ohio | Thanks for all the info, from Jerome's site, it's owned by Pascal in France.
I'm in the process of getting an address so I can ship it. If I scan the picture to send it electronically, it won't look as good. You can barely make out the "13" naked eye. It's very clear with a magnifying glass though.
I'll try and scan it just to post on the website.
After further review, there are no tuners on the headstock yet, no truss rod cover, not oven the nut has been attached yet. there is still some tape around the bowl.

I understand why you keep the GC close at hand. I feel the same for my FD14- it's never far from hand amongst Adamas' and Lowdens... |

Location: SoCal | Jeff, I pulled out my FD14 last night. The OFC guitar is great (literally), but so are my wood topped O's. Flavors of ice cream...... |
