Well Jim and I continue our mutual trading activities. I now have the 1719-30CM (SN: 577750) that has been through several hands on this board and I think will find a happy home here with its 1619 (Op-Pro redux) and 1769-ADII brothers.

I was very jealous when these were released back in 2004 so delighted to have one come into my hands.

Jim in return has the second 2006FKOA that I acquired which I hope will satisfy his lust for a cutaway exotic. Although his GAS still seems to be primed based on that new UTE making its way to Fort Myers :-)

For me it is definitely Adamas 1 target time I think :-)

Stuart, the Koa did remove some of the gas pain. This is a beautiful guitar. I think I'm going to set the action a little lower though. I can say without a doubt,(uh huh) that I am done buying guitars for a while (uh huh again) :D (let me know if you're going to sell/trade anything else)

Mwhahahahaha!!!! :D

I never thought I'd be posting as soon as this on this topic. The collection grows and at bargain basement dollars too.

Earlier tonight I secured this baby for $1,025 on the Bay.

Adamas 1 1687 on Ebay

Ridiculous amount of money really, even despite the pretty obvious cosmetic flaw. On that front I hope a Budny/Keller spa treatment might fix this and I can get an Optima added to this baby to bring it up to what I want.

I feel sad for anyone trying to get money out of their Ovation and Adamas guitars like this guy John and Jason with his predicament, as the market is really soft. Even I had to hang on to some items I thought would get more attention and let others go at very low prices to get some cash flowing.

Will report more on this one once I get it in my hands. Good day.
