Location: PDX | [rant] Here's some advice. When shipping a guitar that has a battery for the pre-amp that isn't in a housing but has, instead, just an internal clip. TAKE THE DAMN BATTERY OUT before shipping.
I just received the third guitar where the batter was left in. Of course it doesn't stay in the clip. Two of the guitars suffered damage because of it flying around inside the body. One ripped the wiring off the piezio and one chipped a brace.

Location: Marlton, NJ | gh1 - I posted about that not too long ago. I have had two shipments with the same problem - damage done both times. A little extra effort up front goes a long way. Secure the battery, the case key, any allen wrenches and whatever else. |
